Cookie Policy

Effective date: April 2026

What are cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They are used to remember preferences, track user behaviour, or display personalised advertising.

This site does NOT use tracking cookies

This is a simple presentation website with no advertising and no user tracking. I do not set any tracking, advertising, or personalised analytics cookies.

Analytics: Plausible (cookie-free)

I use Plausible Analytics to understand, in general terms, how many visitors access the site and which pages are popular. Plausible is a privacy-first alternative to Google Analytics:

  • Does not set any cookies on your device
  • Does not track individual users across sessions or across sites
  • Does not collect personal data
  • Data is aggregated and completely anonymous
  • Fully GDPR-compliant, no cookie banner required

The Plausible instance is self-hosted, which means analytics data is not shared with any third-party companies.

Third-party: Cal.com (scheduling)

If you use the session booking button, you are redirected to Cal.com, an external calendar platform. Cal.com may set its own technical cookies required for the calendar to function (session, timezone preferences). These cookies are managed by Cal.com according to their own privacy policy, not by me.

If you do not access the Cal.com scheduling page, there is no impact.

Astro technical cookies

The website is statically generated with Astro and does not use server-side sessions or its own technical cookies. There is no authentication, shopping cart, or other functionality that would require cookies.

How to manage cookies

Although this site does not set tracking cookies, you can control third-party cookies (e.g. Cal.com) from your browser settings:

  • Chrome: Settings > Privacy and Security > Cookies and other site data
  • Firefox: Settings > Privacy & Security > Cookies and Site Data
  • Safari: Preferences > Privacy > Manage Website Data
  • Edge: Settings > Cookies and site permissions
